The morning after a massive thunderstorm, a thick, unnatural mist settles over the town of Bridgton, Maine. Hidden within the mist are creatures, unlike anything ever seen on Earth. Cut off from the outside world, the townsfolk struggle to keep from breaking down, making themselves an enemy as lethal as the things in the mist outside.
