Shaolin warrior monks, communist Chinese defectors, and the Wu-Tang Clan all have one thing in common — Shifu Shi Yan Ming. After defecting to the US in 1992, Ming moved to New York in 1994 and opened the USA Shaolin Temple, training students, actors — and the Wu-Tang Clan.
