A sheriff’s deputy in California pulled a man from his car on Monday in Sunnyvale, moments before an oncoming train slammed into it as it lay crashed on the tracks. Two San Mateo County deputies Lance Whitted and Erik Rueppel said they heard the car crash into the crossing guard before rushing to the driver’s rescue, according to NBC’s reports.
